Nintendo’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is seemingly unstoppable as it takes the No.1 position for a second week in the first boxed UK video game software charts for 2022. Admittedly the charts have been rather quiet this week with no new releases cracking the top ten, but it is clear that the Switch proved to be a popular Christmas present in the United Kingdom as there are a smattering of games for the Nintendo Switch family of systems within the top ten for the week ending 8th January.
